The app is okay. it is easy to get started and cheap enough prices, but I had an issue with the service, most likely APN issue, every time the sim switched network/carrier lost data service and had to restart the phone everytime. It's pretty annoying to be unusable at times, as just moving around town, it would switch network and forget about longer trips

Yesim is fantastic for travelling to many countries. When you arrive in a new country with the international plan the sim automatically connects and you are online. Sometimes there is a problem which can be solved by contacting support. This is very easy too. I have connected in New countries maybe 50 times. 3 times there was a problem and Yesim sends a new QR code, no questions asked, and problem solved.

Travelling through Asia I got to use the regional eSIM in various countries. Turns out that I only got intermittent service in India, Japan, the Phillippines and Vietnam. Customer support (unavailable from 9am to 5pm Japanese time) made me jump through various generic hoops from "reboot your phone" to the more bizarre "make sure the APN name includes the name Yesim" without solving the problem. Happy now with a different company. EDIT: The cherry on top: they signed me up for their spam mails.
